Update your CRM after customer calls without retyping the notes

CRM records drift when updating them means retyping call notes. Decide which fields a customer call should change, capture the call, and let Bridge propose the update from the transcript and action items. With Attio connected, an agent can make the change for you, after your approval or automatically.

Before the call: decide what should change

Most CRM updates after a call touch the same few fields. Agree on them as a team, so every rep updates the same things. A typical list for a sales or account team:

  • Next step, with an owner and a date.
  • Deal stage or status, if the call moved it.
  • New stakeholders and their roles.
  • Objections or open questions to answer.
  • A short note linking to the call.

Start from what the CRM already knows

With your calendar and Attio connected, the Brief for an upcoming call can include CRM context next to past meetings and emails with the same people. Use its private Notepad to jot the questions that would fill gaps in the record.

During the call: get the facts said out loud

An update can only be as good as the conversation. Before you hang up, restate the next step, who owns it and the date. Confirm any new names and roles.

That recap lands in the transcript, where the notes and any agent can find it, instead of living only in your memory.

After the call: approve a proposed update

Open the completed meeting's Assistant and choose Plan and execute next steps. Bridge proposes a Workflow Plan from the recap, transcript and action items.

Steps an agent can run through connected tools, including Attio, appear under "I can handle these". Approve, revise or skip each one before it runs. Your own tasks appear separately as a checklist.

Or let an agent do it after every call

Once you trust the updates, create an agent with the Attio connector enabled and the After every meeting trigger. It runs against the recap and transcript as soon as a meeting ends.

The trigger fires after each meeting, including internal ones. Say in the instructions which meetings to act on and which fields to change, and check its first few updates.

Illustrative agent instructions

Here is an example of instructions a team might give such an agent. Adapt the fields to your own CRM setup:

  • Act only on meetings with people outside our company.
  • Find the matching company record in Attio. If none exists, don't create one; tell me instead.
  • Update the next-step field with the agreed action, owner and date.
  • Add a note with up to five bullets: decisions, objections and new stakeholders.
  • Never change deal value or close date.

Control and limits

Bridge respects the permissions you already have in Attio. Agents only touch the records, lists and objects you can access.

Attio is the CRM Bridge connects to today. Agents and agentic workflows, including workflow plans, need a paid plan.
