Use an AI agent to collect product feedback from customer calls
A customer feedback agent runs after every meeting, reads the recap and transcript, and pulls out feature requests, bugs and objections a customer raised. It posts each item, with the customer's own words, to a Slack channel, a Notion page or a Linear issue. A person then triages it: the agent collects, people decide.
The job: collect, don't decide
Customers tell sales, success and support teams what's broken and what they wish existed. Most of it stays in call notes that product teams never read.
This agent moves that feedback to one intake place after each call. It doesn't prioritize, merge duplicates or promise anything to the customer. Those stay with the person who triages.
- Researching a question across planned user interviews is a different job; see user interview synthesis.
- Turning a meeting's own action items into tasks is also different; see action items to tasks.
Trigger, inputs, actions and output
| Part | In Bridge |
|---|---|
| Trigger | After every meeting: runs against the recap and transcript as soon as a meeting ends |
| Input | The meeting's recap and transcript, which every agent can read |
| Optional input | Notes search, to check whether the same customer raised it before |
| Actions | Through connected tools: post to a Slack channel, create a Notion page or create a Linear issue |
| Output | One entry per feedback item in your intake place, and a result you can turn on as an agent message notification |
Pick one intake place
Send everything to a single place a named person checks. Splitting feedback across three tools makes triage harder.
| Destination | Fits when | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| A Slack channel | The team discusses feedback in Slack and triages there | Items scroll away; someone must move keepers into a tracker |
| A Notion page per item | Product keeps its feedback log in Notion | The agent can only use pages you can access |
| A Linear issue per item | Bugs and requests already live in Linear | Unreviewed items can look committed; label or review them before planning |
Set it up
- Connect your destination first: Slack under Integrations → Communication, Notion under Productivity, or Linear under Projects.
- Select Create Agent from the sidebar. Name it and write its instructions; you have up to 4,000 characters.
- In Tools, select the connected destination. Turn on notes search if you want repeat mentions flagged.
- In Triggers, turn on After every meeting, then save.
Example instructions
This is an example we wrote to adapt, not a template built into Bridge. The first rule matters most, because the trigger runs after every meeting, internal ones included.
- If this meeting was not a call with a customer or prospect, stop and post nothing.
- Find feature requests, bugs and objections the customer raised. Ignore ideas our own team raised.
- For each item, give the type, one line on the problem, the customer's words as said and the company name.
- If no feedback came up, post nothing. Never guess at what the customer meant.
- Post each item to the #product-feedback channel. Don't create issues, assign owners or set priority.
Example: one call, two items
Say a customer on a renewal call says exports time out on large workspaces, and asks for a weekly summary email. The agent would post two items: a bug about export timeouts and a feature request for a weekly email.
Each item carries the customer's phrasing. The person triaging decides whether it's new, a duplicate or already planned. This scenario is illustrative.
Human control
An after-every-meeting agent acts on its own when it runs; there's no approval step per post. That's why it should only write to an intake place, never to your roadmap.
Want to check each step first? On a single completed meeting, open the Assistant and choose Plan and execute next steps. You can Approve, Revise or Skip each proposed step before it runs.
- Test first: @mention the agent on a few past customer calls and compare its items with what was said.
- Agents use only the channels, pages and projects you have access to in the connected tool.
- Triage stays human: dedupe, prioritize and reply to the customer yourself.
Limits
- Creating and using agents, including the after-every-meeting trigger, needs a paid plan.
- The agent only sees meetings captured in Bridge. Calls nobody captured or imported never reach it.
- On Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls it works from the transcript. Agents can't hear or see through those platforms.
- It finds what was said out loud. Feedback sent by email or a support ticket isn't in the transcript.
